We serve a mighty good God!

It is indeed a blessing to walk in the favor and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a church congregation, we have received many blessings individually, including being a body of Christian believers dedicated to Kingdom building for over 100  years is a tremendous blessing.

The word of God has always, is now, and will be a lamp unto our feet and light unto our path.

We are overcomers of the world through our love and the love of Jesus Christ which abides in us. He said if we abide in Him, and His word abides in us we can ask what we desire. What we are asking is that the Lord, makes us His sons and daughters.

Our church history is rich and has been filled with ups and downs. But through it all we survived. According to Psalm 100:5, “For the Lord is good; is mercy is everlasting and is truth endureth to all generations.” It is our prayer that Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church will be an effective ministry for generations to come.

Let us continue to strive to be the sons and daughters that the Lord has called us to be. After all, His sons and daughters are going to live in His house in glory.

My hope is that you are striving to be sons and daughters of God, because His sons and daughters will live with Him throughout eternity. 1 John 4:4 says “You, dear children, are of God, little children and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 

Jesus Christ is ever so faithful and merciful. As people of God and believers, we are eternally grateful for all that He has done, everything that He is doing and what He will do in our lives.
